I love you abuela. I miss you everyday, but today is especially difficult. I take comfort in knowing that you are dancing in heaven ❤️ give abuelo a hug for me! Love you both!

We are so sad to hear about Albertina’s passing, but happy that she is reunited with her sweet husband in heaven. The both of them were our first friends we made when we first moved into the neighborhood and we’ll never forget how Felix offered to cut our grass for free the first month we moved in. Albertina would always come out and share stories of her children and Cuba. Whenever she would hear my children playing outside, she would come out in her cute day/nightgown and  just watch them play and tell them how cute they are.  I remember the day Albertina moved and how I had to go see and hug her and I’m so happy I did since the pandemic happened shortly after and I never saw her again. I hold that memory dear to my heart and any chance I get, I would ask Jessica how she was and she would give me all the updates on her.  Albertina, gracias por ser tan linda con mi familia. Que descanse en paz. Abrazos fuerte!

And this picture just reminds me of how happy and fun loving she was! I'll miss you forever my beautiful lita 🕊😘

My sister and I would go visit her once a month, together ❤️ We tried to make it a point so that not to much time would pass by. With covid it got so difficult to visit or we would have gone way more. We all were going at least once a week before. Taking turns so it always felt like we were there with her. We charished our time with her!

Two of the best daughter in laws anyone could ask for. They loved her like their own mom.

This was our last family picture with her for her birthday. The time before this visit my sister and i went and she kept telling us she wanted all of us to go and take a picture all together. So this was it ❤️ something that will be forever cherished!

When we had to make the very difficult decision to find a facility that could provide the proper care for our mom, the Lord led us to Long Beach Care Center (LBCC).  At first we were not sure why, until we met Terrie!  Terrie took care of our mom as if she was her own mom.  Over the years Terrie and the staff at LBCC shared their lives and their love with out mom.  Photo was taken when out mom returned from a hospital stay.  We are forever grateful!!!!!

Thank you Maria for always loving our mom as if she was your very own mom until the end.  You were always there for her and for me in my deepest of sorrows during this journey.

Such a special moment when my grandparents met Kennedy. Grandma always wanted to hold her. 

3 generations. I’ll love you forever abuela. 

Dec 11,  2019 I went to visit Albertina, we sat in her room for a bit then I accompanied her to the dining hall for dinner. She was not as talkative like she usually was, and she was having a difficult time remembering me, but I was blessed to have spent some time with her.  
I will miss her fun personality. Very sweet and caring.

This picture was taken at their 50th Anniversary party. I will never forget how happy they were that day, but specially Albe. She loved having all her family and friends there celebrating this special day with them. I love you Albe and Felo you are greatly missed!
