

Cecilia Gallardo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and esteemed professional, passed away peacefully on May 25th, 2024. Born on March 22, 1954, she was the cherished wife of Pedro Gallardo Vargas, hailing from Atotonilco El Alto de Jalisco, Mexico.
Cecilia embarked on a remarkable journey marked by creativity and dedication. She initially established her own bridal dress business, where her passion for design and commitment to elegance shone brightly. Subsequently, she brought her talents to the Los Angeles Times, where for a decade, she contributed her skills and insight to the publication, leaving an indelible mark on her colleagues and the industry.
Throughout her life, Cecilia faced challenges with unwavering strength and grace. Though deeply saddened by the loss of her son Alejandro Gallardo in 2012, she found solace and joy in the lives of her three beloved grandchildren: Jordan, Jakob, and Jazlyn, who brought her immense happiness and pride.
Cecilia will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but also for her warmth, kindness, and generosity. She touched the lives of many with her infectious laughter and compassionate spirit, leaving a legacy of love and perseverance.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
