Martha Cruz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Cruz, who was born on June 15, 1955, and departed this life on November 20, 2025, at the age of 70. A longtime resident of Downey, California, Martha leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Martha was a loving mother, whose warmth and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was the kind of person who made every space brighter simply by being in it—offering encouragement, compassion, and a listening ear to all. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her strength was a guiding light for her family. Those who were blessed to share in her life will forever remember her tender heart, her selflessness, and the deep love she held for her children and loved ones.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Martha’s life will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Bell, located at 4667 E. Gage Avenue, Bell, CA 90201. Services are scheduled for December 13, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. During the service, a funeral mass will be officiated by Father Jorge in the chapel at 3:30 pm.

Martha’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her in return. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit, her kindness, and the love she gave so freely will remain forever.
