Nellie Rodriguez resident of Los Angeles County for more than 87 years was called home by the Lord and reunited with her husband, Marcelino Rodriguez, on December 24th, 2013. She was born to Catarino and Toribia Rodriguez on March 3rd, 1915 in New Mexico. Nellie was a home maker for more than 83 years and enjoyed her time with family, friends and neighbors. She liked to cook, bake, sew and garden. One of Nellie’s favorite things to do was attend musicals and plays. She was a kind hearted lady with a pleasant sense of humor and will truly be missed by many. Nellie is survived by her son Fred Rodriguez. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Mary Ann, Fred, Ray, Michelle, and Regina. Left to cherish the memory of their grandmother is Nellie’s three great-grandchildren: Eddie, Roman, and Nicholas; her three great-great-great grandchildren: Brittany, Zachary Jax, and soon to arrive Baby Levi. The funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Bell.
