Abigail Salter, 53, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2016, at her home in Telluride, CO from complications from pancreatic cancer. She fought it with untold determination, dignity, and courage to the end.

She is survived by her husband Pat Oldmixon, the love of her life, who devoted his entire self to her care and well-being during their time together. We wish to thank all the families and the many friends who were there for Abby during her illness and final weeks.
In her early teens, Abby rode her horse, Blackie, with distinction in many competitions. She attended Stratford H.S. in Houston, and was on the Spartanaires Drill Team with her sister Ilana when the school won the State Football Championship. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi. She later graduated with a B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Houston. She was an avid golfer and ladies' champion at Telluride Golf Club. She was passionate in life, and devoted to her children, and most proud of their achievements.
