

Alvin John Rosenauer is now resting in peace. He passed away on September 23, 2011 in Houston, Texas at the age of 80. He was born January 18, 1931 in Moulton, Texas to Jim and Mary Rosenauer. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War and later retired from Nabisco Co. after 37 ½ years.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Mary Rosenauer, his brother, Harvey Rosenauer and son-in-law Bruce Baxter. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Marilyn Kalischko Rosenauer; his daughters: Loretta (Kevin) Renault, Kathy (Roy) Davis, Renee Upchurch (Greg Bolan) and Becky Baxter; his son: Steve Rosenauer (Sue Jester); six grandchildren: Rachael (Pat) Lawley, Stephanie (Chad) Benkert, Shane (Amethyst) Rosenauer, Misty and Dawn Baxter, and Michelle Upchurch; two great-grandsons: Cade and Tyce Benkert; his sisters: Matilda Stuchly, Irene Cernoch and Shirley Coughran; his brothers: Eugene, James, and Leroy Rosenauer; his step grandchildren: Paul (Alice) Bolan (daughter Kaitlyn) and Amber Bolan-Blakely (daughter Arianna); his step great-grandchildren: Levi Lawley (daughter Ashlynn) and Kristen Collins (daughter Sharon) along with many other family and friends.
Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2011 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris, Bellaire, TX. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 601 N. Pecan St., Moulton, TX 77975. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moulton, TX.
