Betty Lou Macey Quartaro

A beloved mother and grandmother who devoted a lifetime to her children and family. She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, had a love for animals, and a heart dedicated to caring for both the young and the elderly. Never selfish, always denying herself to give to her children.

Betty is precceded in death by her infant son, Vincent DePaul Quartaro; her parents; Norman Jacob Macey and Lula Faour Macey.

Betty is survived by her daughter Theresa Quartaro Allen and husband David Lee Allen, sons Robert George Quartaro, and Gregory Allen Quartaro, grandsons Michael Jacob Allen, Christopher Lee Allen, and Matthew David Allen, brothers; Jack Norman Macey, Sr. and wife Beverly Ann Macey, and Robert George Macey, Sr. as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will recieve visitors from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. George Orthodox Church 5311 Mercer. The Trisagion prayers will be read beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday March 23, 2012 at St. George Orthodox Church with Rev. Father James Shadid officiating. Interment will follow at the Hollywood Cemetery.
