Since the first time you came in to purchase parts, I knew you had a big heart with a wonderful personality... I didnt know you as much, but from what i did know, you were a great person and it hurted to know that the world had lost a great person.

You never knew how much I loved you and how much I cared. You stole my heart with your smile from the moment we met. I miss you so much. You always knew how to brighten my days. I know that we will be together one day and i will never let you go. You will always be in my heart my sweet love.

I briefly met & knew Cecil when he worked on an a/c installation at my apt bldg. He was kind, respectful & professional. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing & hold all the Amos family in my prayers.

I, your Aunt Shirlene (You lovingly called me "Sister") will miss you on this earth! Who will help me with all my 'To Do Lists'?  You were always willing to do what was needed to be done. 

After Hurricame Ike(2008), you, Cecil and your brothers, Enos and Jason as well as your father, Ben were there to get the huge oak tree off the roof of my home. The next day you, Cecil and a large group of young adults from the L.D.S. church were at my home to help clean up the yard and cut down other trees. Cecil, you stayed until that old tree was moved. You alone moved that huge truck of the old oak tree off the roof with a chain and ropes.  Thank you. 

Cecil you were there when I need help hanging pictures of my grandchildren.  I will remember your tender care with each picture as I gaze upon my "Grandma Wall".

Thank you for the gifts of memberships to the Houston Children Museum. My time watching Caleb and Mischa Hilton learn from those weekly visits to the museum will live on in our hearts forever.

Cecil you will be missed at our family gatherings, birthday celebration and holiday traditions. I love and will miss you! I will see you one day soon.

I remember Cecil teaching me how to make a stunt paper air plane. A week ago I taught my kid's how to make the same paper air plane.

The world lost an angel with a heart of gold. Cecil Amos, rest with God.

Why do I feel my heart was still with him from 7-8 years old... I NEVER forgot him or his brothers or parents, but this weighs Heavy on me! My son is also on football and scouts, and before all this he told me to tell my son to "NEVER GIVE UP HIS RUNNING BACK POSITION, AND THE OTHERS MY SON PLAYED/PLAYS! Cecil you are an inspiration and my son was told what you said! We will live by that ALWAYS!!!!

Peace to the Amos family. I remember Cecil was one of the only cats I didn't want any part of on the football field. Made me work harder. He was my rabbit! Gave me something to work for at that point in my life. RIP!

Cecil Amos, you will be missed brother! Rest In Peace my friend, your destiny will live on through all who you have ever come in contact with. You were mean on the football field but you never had a mean spirit or ill feelings towards anyone no matter their actions! My heart goes out to your family!

The 30 min my son met you, was the biggest impact on him! I told him what you said about him Never giving up on his football, or his Boy Scouts... he's busted butt, he became starting line... I watched you grow up!  Enos and I were great friends and I spent many of great times with you, your brothers, cousins, dad and uncles while at BHS. I remember that huge freaking snake and watching u feed it. We all hung out and you ALWAYS made me smile. Cecil, you will definitely be missed but never forgotten. I knew Cecil briefly while at Bellaire High.  He played varsity football while I played junior varsity.  He was rowdy, funny and a danger to the opposing teams.  We may had never connected as much those days; but I did look up to the guy then, he may have never known that. Go Cards! Rest In Peace brother.
