Chuck C. Hills, age 59, of Chicago, Il and Costa Rica, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 3, 2014, at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born December 28, 1954 in Beaufort, South Carolina to his loving late parents, Charles and Johanne (Ryan) Hills. Devoted husband of Hilda Paniagua of Costa Rica. Father of Christopher of Tinley Park, Il and Stepfather of Vielka Paniagua of Costa Rica. Stepson of Gene W. Ryan of Orland Park, Il
Cherished brother of Patti Jo (Larry) Kazmierski of Orland Park, Il, Brian (Susan) Hills of Colorado, Susan (Chip) Kessler of New York, Bruce (Lisa) Ryan of Ohio and Lisa (Steve) Smith of California. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Chuck will be forever remembered by his many hundreds of friends he had, beginning at 62nd and Kedzie, to the many he made along the way in his journeys.
A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014, 10:30 am, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church 14327 Highland Ave. Orland Park, Il 60462. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow immediately afterward.
