Dorothy Bogar Lipscomb, 89, went to be with our Lord on April 25, 2015. She was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her husband, Chili and great granddaughter Emma. She retired at 75 after working 26 years for HISD.
She is survived by her brother, Joe Bogar and wife Bobbie, her daughters, Pat Parrish and husband Bill, Polly Rollo and husband Scotty, Charlene Clare and Mary Lipscomb and her son, Marty Lipscomb and wife J.P. Grandchildren: Ransom Parrish, Cara and Michael Ricks, Tai and Chris Lemaire, Donny Rollo, Chad and Bina Rollo, Brianna Potter, Jason Clare, Katy, Kory and Chase Lipscomb and 9 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone at the Gardens of Bellaire and Blue Bonnet Palliative Care for their loving care and support.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM, Thursday April 30 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Friday, May 1 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer. The Celebrant will be Rev. J Walsh. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. The pallbearers will be her 10 grandchildren.
