Jeffrey Britton Rilat, born September 9, 1956 passed away July 30, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his mother Bettie Rilat. Jeff is survived by his wife Carolyn; father, W.H. “Bill” Rilat and wife Annie; sisters, Cathy Findlay and husband Bill, Margaret Molly and husband Tom, Kathy Muller and husband Peter; nephews, Ryan and Jeffrey Findlay and Daniel Muller. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 2, 2010 at First Christian Church, 1601 Sunset Blvd. The interment will be 3:00 p.m. at Bryan City Cemetery.
