Karen Louise Lindquist

Karen Feil Lindquist went home to the Lord on December 25, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on October 22, 1942, to Helen and Bill Feil, she was the oldest of seven children. Karen grew up in the Chicago area, where she met her husband, John L. Lindquist. Together they built a loving family of six children, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

During her years raising children, Karen devoted herself wholeheartedly to her church, her children’s schools, Scouts, and countless sports teams. As her children grew and throughout her senior years, she continued to be surrounded by a close knit neighborhood filled with wonderful friends, caring neighbors, and a community she deeply cherished.

Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children John Lindquist and his wife Debbie, Jeanne Lindquist and her husband Russell Norwood, Kristin Lindquist and her husband Karl Decker, and Peter Lindquist and his wife Tanya. She is also survived by her grandchildren John A. Lindquist, Ally Klaus and her husband Kevin, Erik Lindquist, Emma Lindquist and her husband Adam Kearney, Ben Preston, Abby Preston, Cole Wisniewski, Kelly Wisniewski and her husband Ahmad Abderrahim, Courtney Wisniewski, Elizabeth Decker, Griffin Decker, Axl Lindquist, and Nolan Lindquist, as well as her four great grandchildren. Karen is further survived by her siblings Cheryl Abrahamson, Lois Hooker, Bill Feil, Brendan Feil, and Kurt Feil.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Lindquist; her children Laura Lindquist Preston and David Lindquist; her parents Bill Feil and Helen Feil; and her brother Lief Feil.

Memorial services will be held at Earthman Bellaire located at 4525 Bissonnet St, Bellaire, TX 77401 on Saturday, January 10th at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow at Earthman Bellaire.
