Elmo “Kelly” Kaesler passed away at his home on October 22, 2023. He was a loved father, grandfather and husband. Kelly was born on May 6, 1944 in Syracuse, Kansas to parents Edward Kaesler and Rita Marie Frank Kaesler. Kelly proudly served as a flight surgeon in the US Air force during the Vietnam War. Kelley married Sarah Bailey in 1969. Their daughter Laurel was born in 1981. Kelly practiced as a urologist in Houston for over 50 years, beloved by his patients.
Kelly is survived by his wife Sarah Bailey Kaesler, his daughter Laurel Kaesler Grossman, his grandson Bradley Seth Grossman, and his son in law Scott Bradley Grossman. He was so happy to pass on his love of baseball to his grandson, Bradley.
A graveside service for Kelly will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial , Houston, Texas 77038.
