Luis Antonio Santiago Marrero

Luis was born to Eleuterio Santiago and Juana Marrero on June 10th, 1938 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He joined the Army in 1962 and earned a good conduct medal prior to his discharge in 1964. He met and married Luz Rosado, raising 3 children: Luis, Yvhan and Lumarie.

Luis loved music, particularly Trio music and artists like Tito Lara and Bobby Capo. As a sales representative, Luis was able to build relationships throughout the United States and Canada. His many life experiences made him a sought-after mentor and he could often be found giving advice and guidance to those around him.

Luis is survived by his wife Lucy, children Luis, Yvhan & Lumarie, grandchildren Arianna, Andres, Adrian, Emilio & Clarisse and brothers Jose, Gabriel & Juan.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX 77401. A rosary and vigil service will recited Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft St, Houston, Texas 77096, Fr. Thuc Nguyen, celebrant.
