Marcella Louise (Meyer) Rayne, 88, born October 22, 1922, to Henry E. Meyer and Ella Marie (Keppler) Meyer died April 28, 2011. She was born and raised in St. Louis MO. where she attended Beaumont High School and met the love of her life, Joseph Rayne. They were married in 1942 and had celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary prior to his death in 2006. They moved their family to Houston in 1960. They had six children, Stephen, Roger, Michael, Daniel, Susan and Joseph. They had eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Marcella was a good wife, a good mother, and a good Christian woman who will be missed by all who knew her. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, May 2, 2011 with a Rosary recited at 7:00pm, at Earthman Bellaire Chapel, 6700 Ferris, Bellaire. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 9900 Stella Link Rd. Rite of Committal will follow at the Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
