Margaret Maire Marie Elton Gage

Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to travel, giving to others, gardening, shopping, entertaining and she loved her family.

In her professional career, Marie began as a kindergarten teach and then moved on to be the office manager of her husband Bills State Farm Insurance Agency. She was activiely involved in church work and in the Lions Club in Miami, Florida. She held various offices on the district level with the Lions Club and a crowning moment was when she became the first female govenor.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents: Harry Insko Elton and Loa Naomi Elton. Brother Gene Elton and son Stephen Joseph Collinson II. She leaves behind her husband Bill E Gage, children: Bobbie Ann Davis, George William Davis, Susan Marie Davis Swink and Loa Eileen Collinson Glenn. Son in laws, Clyde A Swink and Gregory J Glenn. Step sons Mark Gage, Marshall Burkitt Gage and John Lee Gage, daughter in laws Doris Gage, Donna Gage and Jeanette Gage. 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sisters: Dorothy Blevins, Betty Lane, Jane Swink and Cindy Scott. Brothers;: Bob Elton and Don Elton

She is dearly loved and will be missed.
