Mark Edward Moore, 66, passed away in his home in Sugar Land, Texas with his wife, Chris, by his side on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:10 p.m. Mark was born in Baytown Texas to ML and Bernice Moore on September 30, 1949. He graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and had a 40 year career in the Oil & Gas Pipeline business. Mark had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking, fly fishing and gardening. He loved traveling with family and friends. Mark was a charter member of First Colony Church of Christ. He was a devoted husband, father, and Big Papa to his 5 grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his wife, Chris; 2 children and their spouses, Lindsay and Matt Woolf, John and Tricia Moore; 5 grandchildren, Ty, Jackson, Leighton, Brett, and Bennett; his sister Mary Griffiths.
A funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at First Colony Church of Christ, 2140 First Colony Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas. Any charitable contribution in Mark’s name may be donated to Lifeline Chaplaincy which Mark loved and supported.
