Martin Bert Rushton

Martin was born In Jacksonville, Florida to Allie Inez Ferrell and Eugene Russell Rushton, on November 15, 1949. He went to St. Thomas Episcopal High School, Marian High School and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. Studied at University of Houston. He was an Architectural Designer all of his adult life. He was designing houses as a teenager. Martin loved his family. He was an avid music collector, Artist and loved his 1967 Alfa Romero. He traveled all the United States as a young man. Anyone that knew him will tell you he had a positive outlook and a joy for living that was reflected in his ability to tell a great story and could always make you laugh. Martin was a lifelong member of St Thomas Episcopal Church.

He is survived by: spouse, Glenda Lamka, Brenham, Texas; His daughters and their husbands, Amber Nicole and Robert Dunham of Houston, Texas; Lacy Ann and Thomas Liardon of Buena Vista, Colorado. Nephew and his wife; Silas and Traci Rushton of Galveston, Texas. Niece; Kelsea Rushton, Galveston, Texas. Grandchildren; Rhianna Plush, Haley Plush and Miranda Dunham, Houston, Texas. Cain Liardon, Hanah Liardon, Grey Liardon and Chase Liardon, Buena Vista, Colorado. Great Grandchildren; Audrey and Bentley Plush.

Step children; Michael and Susan Lamka, Galveston, Texas. Leticia Felknor, Brenham, Texas; Terrie Meicke, New Caney, Texas; Sharon and JR Kistner, Nashville, Tennessee; Philip and Venesa Lamka, Fenton, Michigan.

He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene Russell Rushton and Inez Ferrell Rushton. A brother, Paul Russell Rushton.

A celebration of life will be held at a date yet to be determined.
