Mya Katherine Cheevers

Mya, 5, passed on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 in her mother's arms, after battling a terminal disease her entire life. One of 10 Cheevers children, Mya joined her brother Tyler Preston, and sisters, Ava Danielle and Victoria Claire with the angels. Her mom, Caroline, dad, Stan, brothers Justin, Jackson and Ryan, and sisters, Hailey, Lindsey and Savannah, will miss her for eternity.

Mya was an amazing child, full of love and smiles. She greeted everyone with a big smile, and bright eyes, waving her butterfly lashes. Mya loved Moana and all things disney princess, music, ocean lights, and wednesday addams. Her favorite pastime was swimming with mommy, and her besties, Leslie and Dina. Mya enjoyed being part of everything and being with her siblings.

The oldest of the 5 littles, Mya was calm, sweet and loving. She loved to be cuddled and held and would spend all day there if you let her. She leaves behind an amazing village, who loved her, and will miss her sweet soul. Mya was pure joy, and the perfect child. Despite her significant medical needs, she was a joy to care for and will be sorely missed.
