Najla Ajlouny Salameh fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. She was born in Ramallah, Palestine and came to Michigan in 1950 and married the love of her life Wadie. They came to Houston and started Wadie Salameh Wholesale. She opened her own ladies boutique (Najla’s) in 1965 – 1978.
Najla is proceeded in death by her loving husband Wadie of 27 years, parents Martha and Saliba, daughter Mona, sister Maria and brother John. She is survived by daughter Carmen Salameh, Son Raja Salameh and wife Mary and 3 beautiful grandchildren Somer, Layla and Nicolas; brothers, sister, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5311 Mercer Houston, Tx 77005. Funeral Service following at 6:00 PM. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx 77079.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. George Orthodox Church.
