I have nothing but great memories of Nancy.  A beautiful person, and a wonderful woman.  So sorry for your loss.

Jim:  I have no words to express to you my sadness at the loss of Nancy.  The world is a lesser place without her. Among the multitude of memories, I will always cherish the trip to Mexico with her & your dad to see the Rockets play a pre-season game. She was a true "gamer." Your mom was a force of nature! Of all the people I've worked with in my life, Nancy was one of the most memorable.  She was larger than life, with a heart to match.  She loved you beyond all distraction, and she just lit up every time she told stories about you.  She was a proud band mom!  I'm so sorry for your loss - but you will have one feisty guardian angel in your corner.

Nancy Otto was a wonderful person, I worked with her here in Houston in the Media Industry, she was very well loved by us all. I am so sorry for your loss. Heaven just got a bit brighter.

Over the last twenty years you and your mom have become two of my closest friends.  I cant think of any special moments in my life that she has not been a part of.  I have always said that children and dogs are the best judge of charachters. Both my childrren and my dogs ADORE her!  Maybe its because she always opened up her arms and home to all of them.  That is who she was and you should be so proud that she was your mom.  She was loving, good and so much fun.  I will miss her terribly. You have been a great son to her.  I hope that gives you some comfort.  Na Na Nancy.... I love you!!  I hope you are dancing in heaven!

My condolences to Nancy's family and friends. Unfortunately I'll be out of town next week and unable to attend her memorial service.
During my thirteen years in  Houston broadcast sales, I enjoyed many luncheons with Nancy as well as her annual Christmas open house for the media. She will be missed!
