Phyllis McBride, 66 of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday September 26, 2013. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on April 18, 1947 to Roy and Cene Mae McBride. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Rice University.
Phyllis worked at the U.S. Postal Service for over 40 years. She had a passion for sports, theatre, books, shopping, and children.
Phyllis is survived by her loving sister-in-law Susan McBride, her nephew Philip McBride, her nephew Jed McBride and his fiancée Michelle Habernal, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Levy Funeral Directors, 4525 Bissonnet Bellaire Texas 77401 at 10:30 AM on Saturday October 5, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
