Raul Aranda, age 86, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. He was retired from the Postal Service. Preceded in death by his parents, Macedonio and Delfina Aranda; sister, Beatrice Gonzalez; brother, Tino Aranda; son, Richard Aranda; and son, James Aranda. Survived by wife, Aurora Aranda, his daughter, Rebecca Ann Parente and husband Anthony; his daughter, Rachel Ann Kennedy and Sean; his son, Raul Aranda II and wife, Mary; granddaughter, Emily Faith Kennedy; grandson, Austin Michael Parente; granddaughter, Olivia Grace Kennedy; granddaughter, Ava Aurora Parente; sister, Randy Aguilar; brother, Tony Aranda; sister, Lala Newman and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
