She was born May 25, 1934 to William Henry Barsh and Caroline Margaret (Cirotzki) Barsh.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, John, on November 28, 2009.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Carlice, and son-in-law, Bobby; her son, Kevin; her daughter, Amy; and daughter, Myra and son-in-law, Fred; her granddaughters, Alison and Bridget; and grandsons, Evan, Drew, Charlie, and William.
Ruth enjoyed gardening and sewing. Mother was known to sew drapes, re-cover couches, create clothing and quilts. She loved her children dearly and made sure to attend their events.
A Memorial Service will take place on March 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at West University Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX on March 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
