Sandra Ann Schwarzbach

Sandra Ann Keefe Schwarzbach, 82, devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away April 12, 2016. Sandy was born on August 5, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a proud graduate of St. Agnes Academy, Fannin Campus, in 1951. In 1952, she met and married the love of her life, Bernard L. Schwarzbach. Together they raised five children. Her dedication to her family and her Catholic faith was clear to everyone. Sandy worked in the SJET Department at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory from 1983-2011. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and fun personality. Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Bernie. She is survived by her children, Ann Mikus, Dan Schwarzbach and his wife, Amy, Cathy Pettit and her husband, Brian, Carol Wilson and her husband, Ronnie, and Steve Schwarzbach and his wife, Emily; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her brothers, Bill Keefe and Jerry Keefe (Carolyn) and a large extended family.

Visitation: Friday, April 15, 6 to 8pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, April 16, 10am, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft St., Houston, Texas 77096. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
