Stanley Kottwitz

He grew up in Galveston and then attended the University of Texas at Austin where he was in Phi Sigma Delta fraternity. He completed his degree at the University of Houston. Stanley was first and foremost “Stan the Man”. He was a born entertainer, who loved to sing, tell jokes and watch sports. He was founder and president of Window Systems of Texas and was actively involved in the Lions Club and Congregation Beth Israel where he was a past president of the Brotherhood.

Stanley was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Ann Kottwitz and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; brother, Jerry Kottwitz; children, Michael Kottwitz (Susan), Lisa Kottwitz Sobel (Bill), Angela Bratton White (Robert) and Doug Bratton; grandchildren, Kimberly Kottwitz,

Juliet Sobel, Amanda Sobel, Tanner Bratton, Bobbie Sue White, Madison White and Zachary White.

Anyone who knew Stanley will miss his kindness, his sense of humor and his love.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Congregation Beth Israel Memorial Garden 1101 Antoine Dr. Houston, with Rabbi Adrienne Scott officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Congregation Beth Israel.
