Thomas Mylam Price passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 after a long illness. He was born to Lloyd B. Price and Hazel Price in McComb, Mississippi on 6/18/1926. He led a long and productive life. Thomas served in the U S Navy in WWII as a radioman on the cruiser Astoria, stationed in the Pacific. After the war, he married Edythe Stollenwerck of Bogalusa, Louisiana. He had a long and distinguished career with New York Life Insurance holding various positions in sales and staff development.
Thomas is survived by his children Robert Price (Kathleen), Beth Bierhalter (Gary), Thomas S. Price, (Theresa), and James price, (Beverly).He had numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 24th at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 25th at the St. Phillips United Methodist Church, 5501 Beechnut. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Phillips United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice
