

Alma was raised in Dutch Hollow, Belleville and worked at the Donley Bindery for many years. Later, she became a waitress and cook at several Belleville establishments, the former Reeb’s Deli, Lyles Restaurant and Sycamore Assisted Living. She enjoyed card playing, fishing, conversation and was an avid Bingo player.
Alma was preceded in death by her only child, the love of her life, Judith Benne; husband, Herbert Huling parents, James Sebol and Abby, nee Bolin, Sebol; three sisters, Viola Sebol, MaryAnn Schaffer and Helen Duncan; a brother George Sebol.
Surviving are her three grandchildren, Kimberly (Roger) Strong, David (Valerie) Baxmeyer, all of Waterloo, IL and James Baxmeyer, of Oakland, CA; one great grandson, Nathan Strong; and eight great granddaughters, Natalie (Chad) Taake, Deidre (Derrick) Gregson, Nicole Strong, Kelli Strong, Erynn, Kirsten, Skylar and Paige Baxmeyer; three great-great grandsons, Henry, Bode and Maverick; and five great-great granddaughters, Ayla, Alyvia, Holly, Elise, and Mia.
A Committal Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy West, Belleville, IL 62223
Inurnment will be held in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
