Betty Ann Woods

Betty was born June 6. 1958 in Red Bud, IL to Alphonse F. and Dorothy T. (Luebbers) Luecking. She married Phillip L. Woods on March 30, 1987 and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2019.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Luecking; and brother-in-law, Robert Davis.

Betty is survived by her beloved dog, LeRoy, who she loved dearly; her siblings, Ron (Connie) Luecking of Centralia, IL, Jack (Margie) Luecking of Red Bud, IL, Robert (Kathy) Luecking of St. Peters, MO, Mary Sue “Suzie” Davis of New Douglas, IL, Gary (Omar Holderby) Luecking of Grand View, MO, Carol (Terry) Berg of Waterloo, IL, Reneta (David) Wittenauer of Red Bud, IL, and Bill (Kim) Luecking of Belleville, IL; her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; and her Godchildren, Robynn Davis and Sarah Luecking.

Betty was a devoted employee of American General in St. Louis, MO for 32 years, before her retirement.

She cherished her family and loved the time they spent together. She recently discovered her love of travel and was able to visit many beautiful places in recent years. Betty will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

A funeral service will be held following the visitation, at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
