

The 2nd of 6 children, Beverly was a high-spirited gal who loved dancing, nightlife, and water-skiing well into her sixties.
Throughout her active life, Beverly engaged in the noblest of endeavors, that of military matriarch. She married Paul Quast, a U.S. Air Force veteran, on November 8, 1952 in Bay City, Michigan. Beverly was the mother to a US Army serviceman, and grandmother of a US Army Warrant Officer. She tended and nurtured her family throughout her years, watching as her small son grabbed a piece of the newly built Berlin wall, seeing her grandchildren become a pharmacist, college graduates, coaches, a railroad worker and marveling at the latest of her three great-grandchildren.
Beverly retired from Sears Roebuck and Co, and was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, Illinois. To those who knew her, she was a true friend and companion who will be remembered with a deep reverence.
Beverly is survived by her spouse Paul Quast, her children, David Quast and Julie Russell, her children in-law, Anabell Quast and Jack Russell, Her grandchildren, Jessie Mueller, Steven and Christopher Quast, Brian, Brent, and Brittany Russell; Her great-grandchildren Kansas and Alexander Quast, Kamden Russell, her siblings, Dawn Williams, Danny Eager, Suzie Lent, Sister in law Joyce Eager, Brothers in law Richard “Dick” Williams, Samuel “Bud” Anderson, niece’s, nephew’s and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Phyllis Eager, her siblings, Ronnie Eager, Marlene Peterson, her daughter, Deanna Mueller, granddaughter Rebecca Russell.
Beverly was a devoted, loyal, and ardent child of our beloved creator. Her flame will be missed.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten funeral home located at 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville IL, 62223.
Funeral: Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1810 McClintock Ave, Belleville, IL 62221.
Interment will follow, at a later date, in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, MO.
