Bonnie was born on January 3, 1944 in East St. Louis, Il to Edward F. Morgan and Bonnie Lee Hall. She graduated from Belleville Township High School in 1961, and Belleville Area College in 1981 with a degree in Nursing. She married Frank W. Simcox III on November 24, 1962. Over the next few years, the couple welcomed two children into their home. Those who love her remember her as a kind, but driven woman who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Bonnie was a dedicated individual who loved her children and her grandchildren. She was passionate about education and the understanding of diabetes. She was a dedicated member of the Illinois Parent Teacher Association and often volunteered at Roosevelt Elementary School.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Frank W. Simcox III; children, Frank W. (Susan) Simcox IV and Angela M. (Paul) Van Buren; grandchildren, Caitlin and Frank Simcox and Rebecca and Derek Van Buren; sisters, Linda Anna and Betty Stokes.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Czaicki (nee Hall) and father, Edward Morgan.
A memorial service will be held at noon, January 24, 2020 at Valhalla Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway W, Belleville, IL, 62223 with a visitation held an hour prior beginning at 11 am.
