Daniel C Jones

Mr. Jones retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant. Following his military career, he served as a Financial Manager for the Air Force Communication Command. In 2006, Dan became a consultant for Pampered Chef until 2015. In his free time he volunteered for the USO and Meals on Wheels.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Pamela, nee Milam, Jones whom he married on March 31, 1968; his parents, Allen and Sarah, nee Henry, Jones; a daughter, Michele Austin; a brother, David Jones; and a sister, Dorcas Livingston.

Mr. Jones is survived by two daughters, Daniele (Doug) Tyra of Spring, Tex. and Johnna Barton of East Alton, Ill.; four grandsons; three granddaughters; two brothers, Doug Jones and Darrel (Teresa) Jones; two sisters, Doris (Barry) Kaywood and Debbie Powell; a son-in-law, William Austin; and a special friend, Robert Shaw.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 till 8:00 pm on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville, IL 62223.

Funeral: Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, 2016 at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Mr. Jones will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
