

Darvin retired from Belleville Township High School District #201 where he worked as a maintenance man. He also, was a retired truck driver for Frerichs Freight Line, Inc., He was a member of the SEIU union/retirees club. He was an avid stock car fan and past driver and a member of Allied Auto Racing Association.
Darvin was preceded in death by his son, Richard Weatherford; parents, Clifford and Erville, nee Smith, Weatherford; his in-laws, Lester and Dora Slade; and his sister- in-law, Jean Webb.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie, nee Slade, Weatherford; his daughter, Pam (Bill) Gallagher of Swansea, Ill.; his son, Dennis (Michelle) Weatherford of Belleville, Ill.; his four granddaughters, Kim Weatherford, Mandy Gallagher, Jenni Weatherford and Brittany Thomure; His three great granddaughters, Mackinizie Gibbs, Ryleigh Gibbs and Madasyn Thomure; his great grandson, Jaxon Shrout; his sister, Peggy Messner; his brother, Dave Weatherford; his sister –in-law, Judy (Stan) Baczewski; his daughter- in- law, Janet Weatherford; also, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Darvin's memory may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children .
