David L. Daubach, 73, of Collinsville, IL passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Maryville, IL. David was born on June 5, 1940 to Frank and Alma (nee Kopfer) Daubach in E. St. Louis, IL. He was a kind-hearted man who would do anything for anyone and was a retired custodian for school district #189.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Vicki Nelson.
He is survived by the love of his life, Janet (nee Woodside) Daubach whom he married on August 4, 1960; son, David Richard (Goddie) Daubach; daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Perkins; grandchildren, Kenny, Anita, Nicole, Jeffrey, Steven, and Adam; great grandchildren, Alexis and Micah; brother, Frank Charles Daubach, Jr; and sisters, Delores (the late Albert) Crouch and Betty (the late Seth Massey, Jr.) Wilcox; and other relatives. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 12 - 2 at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home. Service is at 2 p.m.
