Dean "Roger" Lewis

Roger graduated from St. Henry’s Preparatory Seminary and attended some college. He married his wife, Sandra, on June 29, 1984 in Belleville, IL. He worked as a salesman for Architectural Control Systems, Inc. in St. Louis for 37 years.

Roger loved music and golfing, but above all else, he treasured spending time with his friends, family, especially his grandchildren whom he was extremely proud of. He was an incredibly kind and loving husband, father, paw paw, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Alex White; parents, Roy Lewis and Ora Lou (nee Vick) Palmer; grandparents, Leslie Vick and Birdie Vick; brother, Mitchel Palmer; uncle, Lee Vick, and brother-in-law, Eric Keiner, and parents-in-law, John and Juanita Klee.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 39 years, Sandra (nee Klee) Lewis; daughter, Morgan Lewis; son, Sean (Meagan) Lewis; grandchildren, Jack and Mitchell White and their mother, Molly; sister, Teresa (Melvin) Stangle; brother, Brian (Sheryl) Palmer; nieces and nephews, Talitha (Danny) Rushing, Tara (Sara Poe) Keiner, Tonya (Cory) Palmer, McKenzie (Jesse) Klee, Angus (Brittany) Palmer, Logan (Ashley) Palmer, Elizabeth Palmer, and Ora Palmer; brother-in-law, John (Kitty) Klee; plus many friends and extended family.

Per Roger’s wishes, he was accorded rites of cremation.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14th, 2024 at the Millstadt VFW at 200 S. Veterans Drive, Millstadt, Illinois, 62260.

Memorials can be made in Roger's memory to any animal rescue or wildlife rescue of the donor's choice.
