Dolan Heard

Dolan was a retired Captain for the United States Airforce. He was a member of the Optimist Club. After retiring from the military, Dolan worked as a Stock Broker, Financial Advisor and a Business Developer for CDM Technology.

Dolan loved his family. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his grandson.

Dolan was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Christine, nee Jackson, Heard and a brother, Donald Heard.

Surviving are his loving and devoted Life Partner, Patricia Prager; son, Dolan James “DJ” Heard and his daughter, Cassandra Elizabeth (fiancée Danny Cornett) Heard; a grandson, Riley Eugene Davis; brothers, Charles Lewis, Ronald Curloc, Anthony Heard and Walter Heard, Jr.; sisters, Phyllis Heard, Karen “Cathy” Heard, Victoria Heard (Amos) Ellis; Crystal (Robert) Branch and Roseanna (Curtis) Smith, also, survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois,

Inurnment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
