

Edward served in the Air Force from 1948-1952 as a Staff Sergeant. He was a charter member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was a former little league football coach and Scout Master. He was a recognized blood donor and over the course of his life gave 22 ½ gallons of blood. He helped 540 people through his generous donation. He enjoyed traveling, bicycling, swimming, scouting, gardening, and spending time with his wife and family. He was extremely proud of his Polish heritage and was overall a “good man” He will be missed by many.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, John and Agatha, nee Urbaniak, Jasiewicz, and brother, Walter Jasiewicz
Surviving is his loving wife, Dorothy, nee Wisniewski, Jasiewicz; children, Mike (Christine) Jasiewicz of Laguna Niguel, CA, Carol (Bill) Rengel, Freeburg, IL, Sue (Ray) Mosman, Smithton, IL, Kathy (Jay) Calhoun, Smithton, IL, John (Susan) Jasiewicz Swansea, IL, Rick (Megan) Laguna Niguel, CA; grandchildren, Michael Rengel, Julie (Dr. James III) Collins, Alex Mosman, Shannon Mosman, Kelly Calhoun, Sam Jasiewicz, Bree Jasiewicz, and Ian Jasiewicz; sister in law Mary Jasiewicz, and one great granddaughter on the way.

Interment will be held in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory.
