Eleanore Jane McNaughton

Jane worked for East St Louis School District 189 for more than 30 years, and Southwest Illinois College before retiring after 8 years.

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Millstadt, IL and VFW

Post 7980 Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert J McNaughton Sr., her parents; Thomas and Loretta nee Vien, Godfrey; her brother Robert F. and wife Rita nee Fields, Godfrey; mother and father-in-law, Leo and Ida, nee Gain, McNaughton; a brother-in-law Charles E. and wife, Lucy McNaughton

Surviving are; five sons, Eugene L. (Rise Morrison) McNaughton of Belleville, Ill., Donald E. (Kathy) McNaughton of Fairview Heights, Ill., Gerald R. (Hillary Desmond) McNaughton of St. Louis, Mo., Thomas M. (Patti Haukap). McNaughton of Millstadt, Ill., and Robert J. (Robin) McNaughton Jr. of Hanover Park, IL; a daughter, Laura A. Grueninger of Millstadt, IL, grandchildren Anthony (Heather) McNaughton, and their children, Kenney and Riley Mae; Tamara McNaughton, and her children, Makinna and Maycie; Timothy McNaughton and his children, Sara, Andrew and Sylas; Christopher (Jessica) McNaughton and their daughter, Harper; Daryl McNaughton; Michelle (Michael) Kunzelman and their daughter Caitlin; Matthew (Cindy Wright) Grueninger; Joseph (Alana) Grueninger; Jason (Rachel) McNaughton Sr. and their children, Ryan and Jason Jr. ; Brian McNaughton; Bradley (Beth) McNaughton and their children, Evan and Wiatt; Nicholas McNaughton; Ian McNaughton; step-grandchildren Brent Engelman and his children, Avery, Cole and Samuel; Dana (Tony Brellinger) Schwering. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved dog, Buffy.

Funeral: Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 26 , 2016, at

St. James Catholic Church, Millstadt, Ill., with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating.

Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
