Gloria Eiler

Gloria loved the Cardinals and the Midwest area. She enjoyed traveling to Florida every winter with her late husband, Richard. Gloria attended pharmaceutical school and was a proud stay-at-home wife and mother. She was a kind, resilient, and loving woman who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence E. Shepherd and Lucille (nee Cox) Shepherd, her husband, Richard E. Eiler Jr., and her son, Richard R. Eiler.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her brother, Robert (Linda) Shepherd, nephews, David Valdez and Robert M. Shepherd, nieces, Diane Valdez, Laura Torrez, and Alycia Jacks, great-nephew, Caleb Torrez, great-nieces, Theresa, Robin, and Leslie Renner, and dear friend, Betty Simmonds.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

She will be laid to rest at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
