Gloria R. (Hosea) Marlow

Gloria was a faithful member of Cahokia Church of God. She will be remembered by family and friends for her cooking; especially her chicken and dumplings, pies, and cakes. Her family meant the world to her and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold E. Marlow, Sr.; her daughter, Carol Templeman; a granddaughter, Anna Schuster; a great grandson, Keith Chrismore; her parents, Ernest and Anna, nee Barnwell, Hosea; and her five siblings.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Sue Coleman, of Festus, Missouri, Sandy Antoff, of Cahokia, Illinois, Marilyn (Larry, Sr.) Ridenour, of Dupo, Illinois, Harold “Eddie” (Deborah) Marlow, Jr., of Waterloo, Illinois, and Denny Marlow, Sr., of Millstadt, Illinois; her grandchildren, Theresa (Patrick) Figura, Jeff Coleman, Sr., Angie McArthur, Diane (Vincent) Bush, Bobbie Antoff, III, Elaine (Mark) Willingham, Larry (Julie) Ridenour, Jr., Jason (Casey) Ridenour, Bridget Marlow, Bruce Gutreuter, Wendy (Glenn) Conner, Tammy (David) Walpole, and Denny (Heather) Marlow, Jr.; her 35 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, plus one on the way; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Ridenour, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
