Mr. Leidenheimer served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Caseyville Gun Club. Harold retired from Illinois American Water Company after working 33 years. Smokey was an avid fisherman, hunter, and sportsman. He enjoyed traveling. Harold was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lena Leidenheimer, nee Hess.
Surviving his loving wife of 54 years, Jovita C. Leidenheimer, nee Torres; children, Maria (Dennis) Fleshren and Susan Bruckner; grandchildren, Callie Fleshren, Dannielle Fleshren, Dana Fleshren, and Blake Bruckner; a cousin, Judie Weckerly.

Per Harold’s wishes cremation will be held. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Entombment of Mr. Leidenheimer cremated remains will be held at Valhalla Mausoleum, Belleville, Ill.
