Jacquelyn Clare Bier Engel

Jacquelyn, never one to say "NO" to those in need, helped many friends. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Jackie enjoyed times spent at her club house with family and friends and she loved playing bingo.

Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Albert Engel, who passed away on Aug. 25, 2010; parents, Frederick and Clara, nee Steger, Bier; and a brother, Ronald Bier.

Surviving are her loving and devoted daughter, Pamela C. (Stephen) Mullen of Swansea, Ill.; grandchildren, Robert Marion Craft, Lauren Taylor Mullen, Ashley Renee Mullen and Miki Mullen; dear friend Denise Lance; and many nieces, great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation: A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at the funeral home with Deacon Gerald Bach officiating. Interment will be at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
