

James was a prisoner of war veteran serving in World War II in the United States Army; he was a loving and devoted husband. A good dad, an avid fisherman and loved to barbeque.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James P. and Catherin Goff; Sister and Brother in Law, June and Doug Sullivan, Brother in Law Jerry Mason and a nephew Jimmy.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife whom were married on June 15, 1949, Dee, nee Edwards Goff;
Loving daughter, Ruthann Goff (Finance Stephen Foster) of Belleville, Illinois; grand dog, Samantha; nieces and nephews, Bobby, Patty, and Sherry, also, survived by a host of other relatives family and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois
