She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary (Bohannon) Hofstetter, one son, Brian Varner and sisters, Linda and Marsha.
Janice is survived by her husband, Duane C. Coker of Belleville, Illinois, one son, Brandon Varner of Belleville, Illinois, granddaughter, Alyssa, great-granddaughter, Chloe and great-grandson, Dylan, nephews, Reid, Evan, Nathan, and one niece, Kelsey, four great-nieces, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins, one brother-in-law, Jeff Coker, and by her beloved dog, Benji.
During her lifetime, Janice was a Legal Secretary. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and holidays with family, listening to music and time spent with friends, and animals of all kinds, especially the pets that came into her life, and lastly, shuffleboard and yes, Janice you won the last time we played.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.
Funeral will be at 11:00 am on Friday, May 31st, 2024, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.
Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
