Jessica Nicole Canale

She is survived by her parents, mother, Jean Canale, and father, Michael Canale, daughter, Amaya Canale, sister, Katie Canale, aunts, Amy Sharos, Mary Hesdra, Sherri Canale, uncles, Tom (Jan) Hesdra, Terry (Dawn) Smallmon, William (Kim) Canale and their children, Jeffery Canale, cousins, Michael (Josephine) Hesdra and their children, Molly (Jamie) Audley and their children, Erin (Michael Sintzel) Smallmon, Kelly (Josh) Cummins.

Jessica is preceded in death by maternal grandparents John and Mildred Bonhard, paternal grandparents William and Dorothy Canale, brother Michael Canale and cousin, Tim Hesdra.

Jessica had embraced her passion for teaching and most recently taught Fine Arts at North Side Community School, Loyola Academy and Riverview Gardens. When she wasn’t teaching, she was a brilliant artist and storyteller. She loved to be outdoors, hiking and taking photographs, as well as having a love of traveling off the beaten path.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 2nd, 2022, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

A Memorial Service will start at 7:00 pm on Friday, December 2nd, 2022, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois, with Rev. Larry Ridenour officiating.

Rites of Cremation have been accorded.
