Lester Herman Clarence Wiese was born in Nashville, Illinois, on July 31, 1937, and was welcomed into Heaven on April 17, 2020. Lester was a good man who enjoyed socializing, especially with new people, and even strangers whilst camping; fixing up hotrods, as well as fixing some his self in his younger years; and spending quality time with his family. Lester was the type of man who never made an enemy, and was well-loved by all who met him. Lester was also a business man, buying the janitorial company he had worked at, and turned it into his own company. He, and his corky sense of humor, will truly be missed.
Departed before Lester are his: parents, Alfred and Nora Weise; wife, Shirley Wiese; sister, Gerry Pruett; sibling who was lost in infancy; and his step-son, Gary Byrnes.
Left to remember Lester are his: brother, Floyd Wiese; children, Kim (Dale) Droste, Randy (Jennifer) Wiese; step-children, Jim (Sheryl) Byrnes, Winnie (Jim) Osborne, and Janice Pasqualone; and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to the current circumstances, there will be no public services at this time, but the short committal service will be broadcasted on Valhalla Gaerdner Holten’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ValhallaGardensandFuneralHome) on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 11 AM (CST).
Memorial donations in Lester’s honor can be given to any organization supporting the fight against Diabetes.
