

Ms. Phillips was a charter member of Villa Hills Baptist Church in Belleville, IL. She loved to sew, making all her daughters’ clothing when they were children. Millie lived her life as a faithful servant of the Lord.
Preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, William Henry Phillips whom she married on April 23, 1932 in E. St. Louis; a daughter, Merna Crawford; son-in-law, John Dennison; two great grandchildren, Dyan and Jennifer Harris; siblings, Wilfred (Ruth) Lauerman, Lucille (Finley) Stufflebeam, Erna (Elmer) Gravot, Dorothy (George) Huffman, Doraine (Harvey) Colliflower, Walter Lauerman, and Doris (Orval) Tarrant; and brother-in-law, Melvin “Gene” Nance.
Survived by her daughters, Maylene (Charles) Harris of Troy, IL and Gloria Dennison of Holiday Shores, IL; son-in-law, Arlen Crawford of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Charles (Janet) Harris, William Harris, Charlene (James) Elkins, Daryl (Kelly) Harris, Craig Harris, Cheryl (Greg) Eaton, Bryan (Lisa) Harris, Arlen Crawford, Jr. (Beverly), Cyndie (the late James) Ray, Julie (Joe) Holcomb, and Angie Dennison; a sister, Ruth Nance; and a sister-in-law, Delores Lauerman.
