Of all her accomplishments, Nancy’s greatest achievements were in the lives of her family and friends.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Nancy was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals and spending time with her family. She especially cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren, reading them stories and watching them play. She also loved to take care of the flowers and lake at her home.
Nancy maintained a positive outlook on life, continuing through her three year battle with cancer.
Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun, family and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Irene, nee Bartosik, Rist.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Deffenbaugh; daughters, Tracy Deffenbaugh, Amy (Matthew) Dube; grandchildren, Kyle Allen Papproth, Ella Rae Dube, Sadie Rowan Dube; brother, David Rist; sisters, Karen Rozycke, Debby (Michael) Taylor, Janis (Robert) Brutto; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
