

Randy met the love of his life, Patty, at Cahokia High School, from which he graduated in 1972. They were married on January 20, 1973; they spent 48 wonderful years together and had one son, Randy Jr. They both enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Florida and treasured spending time with their grandchildren who were the highlight of their lives.
Randy also loved to watch sports; his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, the Cardinals, and the St. Louis Blues. His favorite place to be was at the Corner Grill and Chill in Belleville. Randy was a truck driver for over 45 years and drove for Waste Management for 35 years. He was an incredibly devoted, honest, and hardworking man who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia “Patty” Ann (nee Rhodes) Clark; parents, William Lee Clark and Imogene (nee Gurnow) Clark; parents-in-law, James Cletus Rhodes and Wanda Lou “Red” (nee Harrison) Rhodes; and siblings-in-law, Connie, Peggy Sue, and Jimmy “Buck.”
Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, Randy (Krista) Clark Jr.; grandchildren, Kerri, Cole, and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Clara and Hunter “Bubba” Jr.; brothers-in-law, Mike and Donnie Rhodes; plus many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Larry Ridenour. Randy will be laid to rest in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
The family welcomes everyone to join them for lunch afterwards at the American Legion, located at 201 Eiler Rd, Belleville, IL 62223.
