Roger Willmann Sr.

Roger Elmer Willmann Sr., 77, of Belleville, Ill., born May 10, 1933, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill., surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Willmann was a retired fire fighter with Signal Hill Fire Department and an active board member of Signal Hill Fire Department. He sat on the Board of Directors for Community Kindness Thrift Shop; retired truck mechanic for Hoffken Brothers; retired from Local 50; retired from the Regional Office of Education St. Clair County; and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Belleville, Ill.

Mr. Willmann was preceded in death by his loving wife, Luella Helene, nee Rodenwald, Willmann; and his parents, Elmer R. and Elsie M., nee Stoltz, Willmann.

Surviving are his children, Roger E. (Jackie) Willmann Jr., of Columbia, Ill., Scott A. Willmann of Belleville, Ill., and LuAnn (Leonard) Goldstein of Millstadt, Ill.; his grandchildren, Richard (Gina) McGirr, Amy Goldstein and Andy Goldstein.
